Introduction
Overview
The electroluminescent touch panels are stand-alone controllers that contains a
microprocessor to control a wide variety of audiovisual equipment. The Touch
Panels are capable of providing full-featured control of a variety of multimedia
installations. Equipment control alternatives include: presentations,
teleconferencing, audio recording and amplifier control, video and television,
lighting systems, screens, drapes, environmental systems, and security systems.
Touch Panel Systems
The Touch Panels are self-contained units that may be used to control a wide variety
of equipment from the AXlink bus, the RS-232 port, or a combination of both. One
system arrangement, shown in Figure 1, allows you to develop a variety of Touch
Panel control functions.

Once you have developed your control pages, you can use the AMX TPDOC
software with your computer to save them for backup and other applications. You
