Some buttons and areas within some buttons are inactive and usually display
information. Others are active and win respond to your touch. The active areas of the
buttons will light when you touch them. The visual feedback indicates Touch Panel
response to your action.
The Touch Panel keyboard shown in Figure 3 will be displayed whenever you make
a text entry. You can name buttons, labels, and include RS-232 data messages. The
illustration shows a typical EL TIMER text message.

There are five font sizes in two styles, a set of fixed symbols and a set of variable
symbols available from the keyboard. Additionally, you can select alternate
punctuation characters and international characters. Figure 4 illustrates examples of
keyboard characters. This window is displayed when you touch CHANGE FONT.
