Thermal Imaging System

NIR-B Borescope

Electrical Auto Retract

WARNING

Make sure that the base frame is fully supported during installation.

Metallic surfaces may become hot (over 73 °C / 163 °F) during

installation. Ensure that the correct Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

is worn).

The AR must be supported so that:
•

The borescope aligns with the furnace hole and does not protrude from the

furnace insulation (see installation drawing sheet 8)

•

The AR can be fixed to the front and rear supports using the front and rear axis

support brackets provided.

•

The front support is seated close enough to the furnace wall to allow the port seal

to mate to walls surface (see installation drawing sheet 2)

•

The weight of the system is supported at the front and rear using the front and

rear installation points at the required angle [Max 30⁰] (see installation drawing

sheet 1)

•

Free movement of the water pipes and electrical cables is allowed as the Auto

Retract System operates (see installation drawing sheet 1)

NOTE

When manufacturing the frame, it is highly recommended that its height in

each corner can be adjusted

in situ

in order to help with final alignment.
