Electrical Auto Retract
WARNING
Ensure that the cooling water supply and purge air supply are
connected and operating at all times, especially
before
inserting the
Borescope Thermal Imaging camera into a furnace.
The Auto-Retract system cannot be commanded Forward until the water
and air supplies are flowing.
WARNING
In the event of cooling water failure, the water in the cooling jacket
may boil, causing a steam explosion hazard. Pressure relief valves are
fitted. Ensure that they are vented to a safe area.
WARNING
The Borescope and Auto-Retract System is heavy. A suitable load-
bearing frame is required to support the unit.
WARNING
The Auto-Retract can move unexpectedly. Ensure that the area in
which the Auto-Retract system is installed is guarded to local safety
regulations.
