Installation Guide

Thermal Imaging System

NIR-B Borescope

Electrical Auto Retract

The System Overview is shown on installation drawing sheet 1.
The NIR Borescope Auto-Retract (AR) installation can be broken down into the following

steps (figure 3-1):
A.

Fabrication of a front support frame (height adjustable recommended) to fix the

AR front bracket (see Installation drawing sheet 1).

Installing the AR system main assembly to AR front bracket.

Attaching the port seal assembly to the main assembly.

D. Fabricating and installing rear support frame to fix the rear AR bracket.

Clamping the NIR-b and water-jacket to AR System and attaching port seal

sundries.

Connecting the water and purge air (both supplies, see installation drawing sheets

5 & 6).

G. Installation of heat shielding.

Followed by:

•

Installation of the ECU & its electrical connections to the NIR Camera & customer

facilities.

•

Installation of the IMAGEPro Software.

•

Operating the System.
