7.2 PRINTOUTS
A variety of printouts are available from the AM8a. The printouts may be manual or
automatic. The
MANUAL
printouts are controlled by the
PRINT
key on the front panel or the
RS232
Printing Commands shown in Table 7-2.
The automatic printing selections are provided in the
PRINT CONFIG
menu
AUTOPRINT
parameter. (Refer to 2.7 for description of this menu). The following sub-sections provide
information on the print formats.
NOTE:
Automatic printouts begin at the end of the start of the next call sequence.
7.2.1
off:
No automatic printout will occur. Operator may use the [
SHIFT
] and [
PRINT
] keys
for short or long print, or can use equivalent
RS232
commands (
PET
) or (
PEB
) when
printouts are required.
7.2.2
all calls,events only:
The
EVENT
only printout will show the first line of the Events
Display. This printout can have the same maximum length as the Events Display (80
characters). Figure 7-1 is a sample of an
EVENT
only printout. (This is also the
printout that would result from a manual short printout while in
EVENTS DISPLAY
mode.)

Any underlined characters indicate the Event originated from the switch.
