Mode Selection

The four mode switches together with their various associated switches determine how the
monitor section responds in surround mode.

Switch Relationships

The four mode select switches are:

•

FORMAT / SPK MUTE

•

D/P SOLO / SPK SOLO

•

D/P MUTE / INPUT CUT

•

DIRECT / PLAYBACK

These are all associated with the 12 switches
directly below together with the 4 switches to
the lower right [Fig 3.2].

These are arranged in two banks of six with two
banks of two below them. All functions are
colour coded in turquoise (upper legend) and
yellow (lower legend).

When a mode is selected, the turquoise (upper)
functions are mapped across the upper bank (also turquoise legends) and the yellow (lower)
functions are mapped across the lower bank (also yellow legends).

Format / Speaker Mute

This is the primary operating mode. In this mode, the 8 upper switches (turquoise legends)
control the five

In the other three modes, the functions affect either
