Module Functions

Inputs

The

M1RN

module shares an

XLR

connector for both

Mic

and

Line

inputs. The

Tape

input,

Inserts

and

Direct Outputs

are provided on ¼” (6.35mm) jacksockets.

All connectors are provided on the rear terminal panel.

Note:

The

Mic

input is

TLA

balanced, all other inputs are electronically balanced except for the

Insert Returns

which are unbalanced.

Signal Routing

The main routing area is found at the top of the module comprising the
following features:

Mix to ST

Assigns the

Mix Path

signal the main

Stereo Buss

CH to ST

Assigns the

Channel Path

signal to the main

Stereo Buss

Multitrack Routing

The multitrack routing buttons are configured in two banks of six switches. Normally, the

Channel Path

signal feeds

Busses 1–12

in any combination, post pan pot, left signals to odd

numbered busses, right signals to even numbered busses.

In the rear of the console,

Buss Outputs 13-24

are cross-linked to

Buss Outputs 1-12

, so

signals on

Buss Output 1

are also sent to

Buss Output 13

and so on.

This allows all 24 multitrack tape inputs to be addressed directly from each input channel.
