Equaliser
A 4-band semi-parametric
EQ
is fitted with a separate
In/Out
switch. Each band
is configured using dual concentric pots with cut/boost on the upper control and
frequency sweep on the lower control. The mid bands have variable Q controls.
All four
EQ
sections normally reside in the
Mix Path
, but the
HF
and
LF
sections
can be switched into the
Channel Path
using the
HF/LF to Chan
switch,
providing concurrent limited
EQ
in both signal paths.
HF
The
HF
band cut/boost control has a range of +/-18dB with a variable frequency
range of 2kHz to 20kHz.
HF Bell/Shelf
The
HF
band can be switched between bell/shelf responses, the default is
Shelf
mode. The
Q
factor in
Bell
mode is 1.5.
HMF
The
HMF
band cut/boost control has a range of +/-18dB with a variable
frequency range of 500Hz to 12kHz.
HMF Q
The variable
Q
factor control ranges between 0.5 and 2.
LMF
The
LMF
band cut/boost control has a range of +/-18dB with a variable frequency range of 40Hz
to 1kHz.
LMF Q
The variable
Q
factor control ranges between 0.5 and 2.
LF
The LF cut and boost control gives a range of +/-18dB. The LF frequency control gives a variable
frequency range of 30Hz to 300Hz.
LF Bell/Shelf
The
LF
band can be switched between bell/shelf responses, the default is
Shelf
mode. The
Q
factor in
Bell
mode is 0.7.
EQ In
The
EQ In
switch inserts the
Equaliser
into the signal path.
