AFL / Solo-in-Place
Two preview listen modes are available, selectable via the
Solo-In-Place
button in the
AFL
area.
AFL
In
Stereo Format
, mono/stereo
AFL
is non-destructive and traditionally available
across the console and presented to the
L&R
speakers with master level set via
the
AFL
level control.
In wide formats,
AFL
appears on the
Centre Speaker
only and follows the master
level control.
Solo-in-Place
Supertrue
handles this operation by intercepting the
Solo-In-Place
switch and selecting the
Channel
or
Mix
solo-in-place
SEL
option, depending upon requirements.
Note:
In
Stereo Format
, signals appear panned between the
L&R
speakers only. In
Wide
Formats
the signals appear on whichever speakers they are normally routed to.
See the
Supertrue User Guide
for more deatils.
Mix Fader and Inserts
Mix Fader
The master
Mix Fader
can be selected to control either the
Main Stereo
outputs,
the
Main 5.1
outputs or both concurrently for use
7.1
mode. The stereo outputs
are used for signals
7&8
.
Note:
Deselecting any mix fader assignment removes the VCAs from that circuit
and sets all it’s outputs to unity gain.
Inserts
The
Insert
switch enables the balanced insert points across all main outputs and the
stereo buss. All main output inserts run at unity gain.
SEL Switch
The
SEL
switch together with the
Read/Write
LEDs control the automation modes for the
Stereo
and
Main Outputs
.
