Insert Point
The insert point normally operates in the
Mix Path
and is positioned post-EQ.
Note:
Both
Insert Send
and
Return
signals are
Unbalanced
and fed to a single 1/4” (6.25mm)
jacksocket on the rear terminal panel. The jack
Ring
carries the
Send
signal with the
Return
signal on the
Tip
.
Insert to Channel Path
Pressing the
INS to CH
switch places the
Insert Poin
t in the
Channel Path
.
Ø Phase
The
Ø (Phase) Switch
operates POST the
Insert Point
and reverses the phase of the
Tape
or
Buss
Input
. This switch should normally be released.
Note:
The
Phase
switch also moves to the
Channel Path
along with the
Insert Point
when the
INS to CH
switch is operated, where it can be used to reverse the phase of the
Mic/Line
input.
Mix Path Inputs
Buss
Pressing
Buss
switches the input source between the
Tape
and
Buss
input
signals, with
Tape
being the default
Mix
input source.
Mix Gain
The
Mix Gain
control adjusts the
Buss/Tape
input level with a range of +/-20dB.
Input Flip
The
I/P Flip
function swaps the input signals between both Channel and Mix paths, allowing the
Mic/Line
signal to be fed to the
Mix Path
instead of the
Tape/Buss
signal and vice-versa.
Meter Off Channel
Normally, the LED bargraph meter (in the meterbridge above the module) reads the
Mix Path
(Tape
or
Buss)
pre-gain signal. Operating the
Meter Off Chan
switch causes the meter to follow
the
Channel Path (Mic
or
Line
) signal, post-gain pre-fader.
