CFG_Word_0 Format (continued)



Configuring two or more inputs to have the same function, such as two CW Limit Switches, will cause a

configuration error. (An error does not occur if two or more inputs are configured as General Purpose

Inputs.)



If the encoder is enabled, the encoder position will be trapped and reported when the input makes an



inactive-to-active transition.



Setting the Home_to_Z bit to “1”, without also setting the Use_Encoder bit to “1” will cause an error. If an

input is configured as a Home Input when this bit is set, the input will act as a home proximity input.



Enabling Stall_Detection will cause a error if the encoder is not enabled. (The “Use_Encoder” must equal

“1”.)
