6.3.9 Adjusting the fan speed

REQUIREMENTS

The hopper is full

The hopper is closed

 

DANGER 

 

Risk of injury due to parts of the fan being
flung out

If the fan is operated at excessive speeds,
fan parts can break and be flung out.

Make sure that the fan speed does not
exceed 5000 rpm.

 

NOTE

The specifications for the fan speed are
recommendations. If seed remains in the hose
package or is blown out of the seedbed, the
setting must be adjusted.
