Carefully guide the protective gas retort into
the furnace compartment and lower it over the
sintering bowl without applying pressure.

When the gap between the protective gas retort
and the sintering base is greater than 1 mm, the
protective gas retort is seated against the handle
of the sintering cover:

Check the seating of the sintering cover in the
sintering bowl and correct as required.
NOTE:
Make sure there are no coarse debris particles
on the sealing surface or on the bottom edge of
the retort, which could influence the tightness
and the proper seating.
To ensure that the fit and tightness is
always the same:
▷
Always place the gas retort with the tri-
angular arrow head on into the furnace
compartment and onto the base.
NOTE:
Insufficient sintering results!
▷
Grasp the protective gas retort with the
bowl/cover tongs and turn the retort while
applying light downward pressure until the sin-
tering base is properly seated.
