Protective gas connection

▷

Connect the gas regulator/gauge to the protec-
tive-gas cylinder.

▷

At the bottom left of the furnace rear wall,
insert the protective gas hose into the gas con-
nection. The resistance of the seal must be
overcome, in order to ensure tightness against
leaks.

Connect the other end of the gas hose to the gas
regulator/gauges of the protective-gas cylin-
der. For this, insert the protective gas hose into
the push-in connection by turning and pushing
in, until the resistance of the seal is overcome.

Completely open the right-hand valve on the
pressure reducer.

To check the gas hose's tightness against leakage:

▷

Open the gas cylinder and gas regulator/gauge.

▷

Widely pivot/move about the gas hose at the
gas regulator/gauge.
There should not be any hissing noise whatso-
ever.
