Pick up the sintering bowl with the bowl/cover
tongs.

Carefully position the sintering bowl into the
furnace compartment and place it into the
recess of the sintering base.

Using the bowl/cover tongs, pick up the protec-
tive gas retort by the lateral pins.

Fig. 32

NOTE:

Tilting off or falling down of the sintering bowl,
due to its high weight.

▷

Apply bowl/cover tongs ensuring a firm and
good grip.

NOTE:

Possible damage to the furnace.

▷

Avoid contact with the heating rods, thermoe-
lement and insulation material!

The protective gas retort can be placed on
easier, when it pivots freely in the tongs.
