Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Configuration
DHCP allows you to configure the TCP/IP settings of the computers
automatically on the LAN, such as the IP addresses and the subnet mask.
The router has DHCP incorporated in it. You can use the DHCP server to
simplify the setup of TCP/IP networks. The server can provide the
following settings to the client computers:

IP addresses
G
Subnet masks
G
Default gateway (which is the IP address of the router)
G
DNS (Domain Name System) server
Click the Advance Config selection and then the DHCP Configuration
selection on the left-side window. The window in Figure 26 is displayed.

The fields and functions is the window are explained in the following
sections.
DHCP Profile
To enable DHCP and specify the IP address pool:
1.
Enter your configurations in the first three fields in the window as
defined below:
DHCP: Enables or disables the DHCP feature.
DHCP Start Address: Specifies the starting IP address of the IP
address pool in the DHCP server. The default is 192.168.1.11.
DHCP End Address: Specifies the ending IP address of the address
pool in the DHCP server. The default is 192.168.1.254.

Click Apply to save the configurations into flash memory.
