The control saves the error type and adds the error to the last 25
errors queue.
To clear this error the machine must be powered down, the Clear
Fatal Error Keys must be pressed, or a Clear Fatal Error Network
command must be sent.
Door Lock Error (Non-Fatal)
If the door fails to lock in 20 seconds in Door Locking Mode af-
ter the drive/output board has been enabled the control will turn
off all outputs and display “DOOR LOCK ERROR”. To clear this
error the door must either open or lock. If the door locks the cycle
will start normally. If the door opens the control will revert back
to Start mode. This error has the lowest priority of all non-fatal
errors and will be overwritten by other non-fatal errors.
Door Open Error
If the control senses the door open during
, the control
will enter
. The control will turn off all out-
puts, display "DOOR OPEN ERROR", and turn on the Machine
Error Tone for 15 seconds.
The control saves the error type and adds the error to the last 25
errors queue.
To clear this error the machine must be powered down, the Clear
Fatal Error Keys must be pressed, or a Clear Fatal Error Network
command must be sent.
Door Unlock Error Non-Fatal
If the door fails to unlock in 20 seconds after the drum has stop-
ped spinning and all other outputs have been turned off, the con-
trol will display “DOOR UNLOCK ERROR”.
To clear this error, the door must unlock or open. If the door un-
locks, the control will enter the previous mode it was in. If the
door is opened the control will enter Start Mode. This error has
the lowest priority of all non-fatal errors and will be overwritten
by other non-fatal errors.
Unbalanced Switch Fatal Error
The unbalance switch is an input to the control indicating the
wash basket balance. If the switch is detected open/pressed while
the motor stopped, the machine will stop all cycle activity, enter
, and the control will display "UNBAL-
ANCE SW FATAL ERROR" and turn on the Machine Error Tone
for 15 seconds.
The control saves the error type and adds the error to the last 25
errors queue.
To clear this error the machine must be powered down, the Clear
Fatal Error Keys must be pressed, or a Clear Fatal Error Network
command must be sent.
Unbalance Switch Error (Non-Fatal)
The unbalance switch is an input to the control indicating the
wash basket balance. When the switch is open/pressed while
spinning, the control stops all cycle activity and starts the spin se-
quence over. If the control sees the switch open for more than the
programmable Number of Unbalance Attempts during any ex-
tract step, the control will set a cycle status balance error flag and
limit the speed to 90 RPMs for the remainder of the step. At the
beginning of each extract step and at the beginning of every cy-
cle, the cycle status error flag is cleared.
When the cycle has been completed and if the control has saved
an Unbalance Switch Non-Fatal Error, the control will display
“UNBALANCE SW ERROR” and the Machine Error Tone will
sound for 15 seconds after the door is opened or any key is press-
ed. This error will remain displayed until another key has been
pressed or one minute passes. This error is programmable on or
off . It is off by default.
Max Speed Fail Error
If the final spin fails to reach 1200 RPM, the control will set the
Max Speed Fail Error immediately when entering End of Cycle
Mode to alert that the max speed was not reached in the cycle.
The error status indicator will be active while the error is active
in End of Cycle Mode. This error will be cleared when vend is
entered, a key is pressed, the door is opened, when asked to dis-
play error status indicator, or when higher priority errors are
cleared.
When the error status indicator is asked to display, it will display
the message “Unbalance Limit Error”, “Press any key to exit.”
Drive Errors
If the control receives a Drive Error signal from the Drive/Output
Board, the control will enter
. The control
will turn off all outputs, turn on the Machine Error Tone for 15
seconds, and display "DRIVE ERROR (XXX)" where "XXX" is
the specific error code (refer to
). When a Drive Error
occurs, the audit counter for the specific error number is incre-
mented. The fatal Drive Errors are added to the last 25 errors
queue. The non-fatal errors are not.
