1.0 Introduction
The ELMOW 20/24 mower consists of a 20/24” 10 bladed cutting cylinder, bottom
blade, a powered groomer, two electric motors and a driven rear roller.
The cutting cylinder is driven by an 180W electric motor via a timing belt drive. The
land roller is driven by a second 180W electric motor driven via a worm and wheel
gearbox and a final chain and sprocket drive. The land roll has an internal differential.
Each motor is controlled by a separate controller. Power is provided by a 24V
rechargeable battery pack. A battery charger/conditioner is used to charge the
battery pack when it is electrically disconnected from the mower.
The ELMOW mower is designed solely for cutting high quality turf. Use in any way
other than that stated is considered contrary to the intended use. Compliance and
strict adherence to the conditions of operation, service and repair as specified in this
manual also constitute essential elements of the intended use.
The way in which the ELMOW mower is operated and maintained will have a
profound effect on its performance and reliability.
An ELMOW mower should be operated, serviced and repaired only by persons who
are familiar with its particular characteristics and who are familiar with the relevant
safety procedures
The safety precautions outlined in this manual and all other generally recognised
regulations on safety must be observed at all times.
Any modifications carried out to an ELMOW mower will relieve Turfmech Machinery
Limited of liability for any resulting damage or injury.
