10. TETRA Contacts
Your device may have contacts pre-configured by your organisation. You can
also add, edit, delete, browse or search contacts, and make calls or send
messages to contacts by using the
TETRA Contacts
app or by
accessing the contacts in the
TETRA Phone
app.
Each contact has at least a name, phone number and number type configured
in the Contacts list. If only one name has been configured, it is the contact’s
last name. A contact can have up to five phone number defined.
The same name can be saved only once to the Contacts, but different
contacts can have the same phone number configured. If a contact has
several phone numbers, one of the numbers is the contact’s default number.
The TETRA contacts are listed in
alphabetical order based on the contact’s
last name in the Contact list view. The
contacts are further grouped by the letters
of the alphabet. If there are no contacts
defined yet, it is also indicated.
Note:
It may take some time for the
contacts to be loaded when you open
TETRA Contacts
for the first
time after the device has started up.
Contacts that have only a phone number
defined are listed at the end of the contact
list in ascending order according to the
default phone number.
