Review Data
Review Data YES allows you to enter into the memory of the control and review the milking history.
Review Data NO bypasses the review data and the unit enters the set-up mode.
ID Enable
Moving ID enable to yes makes the Presto units ask for a cow ID number when the right switch is
pressed to start milking. The ID prompt will occur at this time. To enter an ID number press the
right switch to scroll to the correct number and press the left switch to move the curser to the next
number.
Languages
Allows you to choose the language you which the to display.
Units
Allows you to choose the unit of measure desired. You can choose Kg/Centigrade or LB/
Fahrenheit.
Detach Flow Rate and Detach Delay (End-of-Milking EOM Setting)
These two adjustments are used to determine when the end of milking signal will occur. Adjust
these settings to increase or decrease milking unit on time. (For dry or wet milk out)
Maximum Milking Time
This setting allows you to establish a maximum milking time. The detacher will detach the claw no
matter of the milking status of the cow or the detacher set-up mode i.e. manual or automatic.
Conductivity Delay
This setting controls the amount of foremilk that the unit will ignore at the beginning of milking before
it monitors the conductivity.
Milk Letdown Delay
The letdown delay occurs at each attach and causes the detacher to remain attached in the
absence of milk flow. The purpose of the delay is to give the operator time to attach the milking unit
to the cow, and give the cow adequate time let down her milk without the detacher retracting early. If
the unit is in the automatic mode at the end of the delay period, and she has not let down her milk,
the unit will retract and the NO MILK lights will flash to indicate an early detach (see early detach in
the automatic mode). Letdown Delay is adjustable (see ’s Set-up Table)
Retract Delay (soft take-off)
The retract delay allows the vacuum in the claw to bleed off (diminish) before retracting the rope or
chain. This reduces the pulling force on the teats when removing the cups. Retract delay is
adjustable, (see ’s Set-up Table)
Pull Time
Not uses should be set at 0 zero.
Sweep Delay and Sweep on Time
The milk sweep removes any milk that might collect in the milk hose during the retract phase. The
Sweep Delay is the time between claw retract and when the vacuum sweep (vacuum to remove
milk) begins. The Sweep On Time is the duration vacuum is applied to the claw. Both the Sweep
delay and sweep-on-time are programmable, (see Set-up Table).
