1.Determine the best location for the sensor, taking into consideration the best milk hose

management of the milk hose from the milking unit.

2. Determine the correct orientation of the SS mounting plate, (RH or LH mount). To do so notice

the orientation of the threaded bolt holes in the SS plate. The single threaded bolt hole is

always in the upper portion of the plate. Flipping the plate over reverses the sensor mounting

for Right or Left hand sensor mounting.

3.The SS mounting plate can be welded, bolted or banded to a solid mounting location.

4.To assure consistent milk slugging

all the SS mounting plates must be horizontally

leveled and vertically square.

5. After the SS mounting plate is installed. Place the flow cell into the plastic holder block, hold it in

line with the threaded holes in the SS mounting plate and tighten the bolts. It works best to tighten

the upper bolt first.
