SPRAYING EQUIPMENT 12 MY, 12 MY-H
12 MY and 12 MY-H spray booms are hydraulically operated (opening and closing from the transport
position into working position and vice versa is carried out with hydraulic cylinders) and equipped
with a trapeze suspension for continuous adjustment of the boom to the terrain conditions, a safety
mechanism, complete nozzle protection and bayonet nozzles with a diaphragm anti-drip system.
All spraying equipment is factory equipped with flattened jet fissure nozzles. Distance between the
nozzles is 50 cm.
The spray boom is opened from the transport position into working position and closed in the other
direction by hydraulic cylinders. The standard equipment of all MY type sprayers includes the trapeze
suspension mechanism which automatically adapts the spray boom to terrain conditions. The 12MY-H
model is also equipped with a hydraulic levelling system as standard.
There are some differences in the control system of individual types of spray booms 12MY, 12MY-H,
so each type is separately described below.
15.1
TRAPEZE SUSPENSION
The four-point trapeze system (Figure 14.1) allows terrain tracking (

slope). For a flawless
operation of the trapeze, make sure it is correctly adjusted and the sliding surfaces (plates) (1) are
lubricated with a sufficient amount of grease. Special attention should be paid to the adjustment of the
sliding plates. They should have a minimum clearance so that the boom automatically returns to the
horizontal position when it is unblocked and moved slightly.
