Chapter 5

Running an Autotest

Starting the autotest

Make sure that you have attached the correct test probes and configured the
proper settings or loaded a settings profile a described in the previous chapter.
Connect the WireScope 350 at one end of the cabling run that you wish to test
and the DualRemote 350 at the other.

To start an autotest from the Main Menu screen press

or

Autotest

. This

brings up the Autotest Setup screen. If you need to, you can review settings from
this screen before you start the autotest. Press

again or

Start Test

.

If you have not connected to the DualRemote 350, a “Searching For Remote”
dialog box will come up until you connect the DualRemote 350. If the
DualRemote 350 is connected to the other end of the cabling run, the progress
indication dialog will come up. A bar graph will update as the test progresses.
To stop the test before it is complete, press
