Preparing to Run an Autotest 33

The first Connector Setup configuration screen prompts you to specify the
manufacturer of the connecting hardware that you will be testing. If you do not
know the manufacturer, select “unspecified”. Use the

key if you need to scroll

the list of manufacturers. In the example below, “Lucent” is selected. Then,
press

or

Next.

The Connector Setup configuration screen prompts you to either enter/edit a
connector description or select one from the list already stored on the WireScope
350. If you see the part number of the connecting hardware you are using, select
it and press

or

OK

to complete connector selection and return to the

Autotest Settings screen.

If you do not see the connecting hardware you are using already listed in the
WireScope 350, select

Add New Description

and follow the instructions to add

the specification data for the new connector.
