4. You can also read specific EDID blocks by selecting the Hardware tab and selecting EDID for the IO Group.
Populate values in the Address and Length fields, then click on the Read activation button.
To write an EDID to a device:
1. Select the EDID tab on the W2642A GUI and click on the Read from DP activation button.
2. The EDID appears in the EDID Raw matrix. Each functional section is shown in the additional rows in the
EDID tab.
3. Load an EDID from a file stored on the host PC by clicking on the Load from File activation button.
4. Click on the Write to DP activation button to write the EDID out to a display device connected to the
W2642A.
5. You can also write to specific EDID blocks by selecting the Hardware tab and selecting EDID for the IO
Group. You then populate values in the Address, Length and Data fields, then click on the Write activation
button.
