LRR Calibration Failed – Default LRR Value Used
The error message “LRR Calibration Failed – Default LRR Value
Used" appears.
This message appears if the linear reading range could not be
determined because even the first two readings were nonlinear.
You may use the default LRR value, or dilute the standard.
SIPS Offline or Pump Not Connected
The error message “SIPS offline or pump not connected" appears.
You will encounter this message if you have selected SIPS operation
in the method but do not have a SIPS unit installed correctly.

Ensure all cabling to the SIPS is connected properly.

Turn the SIPS off and on again to reset communications.
The SIPS Doesn't Pump

Ensure that:

the flame is on

SIPS is powered up and online

the power indicator light on the electronic control module is
lit (if not, call Agilent for service assistance)

the pump bands are fitted correctly

the IEEE cable is not faulty (try another cable if you have one
available).

Turn the SIPS off and on again to reset communications.

Check the connection between the nebulizer capillary and the
tubing.

Check the nebulizer or capillary tubing for blockage by
disconnecting the capillary from the T-piece to see if any signal is
obtained when SIPS is bypassed. Rectify if required.
