NOTE
The pumps will be automatically calibrated at the start of an autorun or at the
start of every new method where the
Right Pump group on the SIPS page has
been set to Bulk standard .
Determine SIPS LRR
Selecting Determine SIPS LRR from the Analysis menu of the
Instrument window displays the Determine SIPS LRR dialog. This
dialog allows you to start the Linear Reading Range determination
procedure for applicable methods.
This will only be available for those methods where SIPS is selected
AND the calibration mode selected is standard additions.
Flame Facilities Dialog
Selecting Flame Facilities from the Analysis menu or pressing F7 in
the Instrument window produces the Flame Facilities dialog box. The
dialog contains the following controls pertaining to SIPS.
Load
Clamps the presser arm on the pump tubing. Use this button to clamp
the pump tubing into place before a manual run.
Unload
Releases the presser arm on the pump tubing. Use this button to
release the pressure on the tubing. The tubing lifetime will be
extended if you release the presser arm whenever the SIPS unit is
not expected to be used again.
