6000 Series Oscilloscope User’s Guide

To decode CAN data

Connect the CAN signal to one of the oscilloscope’s input
channels.

Set up the trigger mode as described in

“Triggering the

Oscilloscope”

on page 127. You can use CAN trigger or

another trigger type.

Select the CAN serial decode mode:

Press the

Acquire

key.

Press the

Serial Decode

softkey.

In the Serial Decode Menu, press the

Mode

softkey.

Use the Entry knob (or repeatedly press and release the

Mode

softkey) to select the

CAN

serial decode mode.
