When Used with Agilent 8920B and Controlled via Serial Port for TDMA Subscriber Unit

Tests

Cable Connections

Follow these steps to prepare the test equipment for use:

NOTE:

You should have made all connections between the Test Set and Cellular Adapter at this
point. Refer to the User’s Guide for your particular Cellular Adapter for instructions on
connecting it to the Test Set. Verify these connections before continuing with these steps.

Set the GPIB Address Selector on the rear panel of the PCS Interface as follows.

Make the front and rear panel connections shown in figure 9.

Turn on the PCS Interface.

NOTE:

The PCS Interface must be powered on and connected before the Agilent 8920B is powered
on. If the PCS Interface is not powered on first, the Agilent 8920B will not detect it.
