5.3. Operator Controls

The X-Tend Hopper auger adds two functions to a normal swing auger:
1. The ability to extend and retract the hopper.
2. The ability to tilt the end of the hopper up or down.
All controls for these functions are located on the swing tube where the operator has easy access to the handles
on the trailer for opening the chute gates. The functions are identified on the operating label shown below.
