Adding contacts
Go to
Menu \ Contacts
, select
New
, and enter the name,
number and other details of your new contact. Select
OK
.
The contact will be saved to the phone, but not to your
SIM card.
Editing contacts
To edit a contact in your address book, go to
Menu \
Contacts
and choose the contact you want to edit. Select
Edit contact
from the pop-up menu.
Copying contacts
To copy all contacts from a SIM card to the phone,
or vice versa, go to
Menu \ Settings \ Contacts \ Copy
all
. Contacts cannot be deleted from your SIM card.
Alternatively, you can go to
Menu \ Contacts,
select
Options
, and select
Copy all to SIM
from the pop-up menu.
Deleting all contacts
Go to
Menu \ Settings \ Contacts \ Delete all contacts
to
delete all contacts from the phone. Contacts cannot be
deleted from your SIM card.
Using SIM contacts
You can access and use contacts saved on your SIM card,
without copying them to the phone. Go to
Menu \
Contacts
, select
Options
and then
SIM contacts
from the
pop-up menu.
To search for a SIM contact, while in
SIM contacts
,
you can begin to key in a contact name to search
alphabetically or select
Options
and then
Find
from
the pop-up menu.
You can send a text or vCard to a SIM contact, or save
a SIM contact to the phone by selecting an individual
contact and then selecting from the pop-up menu.
To copy all SIM contacts to the phone, while in
SIM
contacts
, select
Options
and
Copy all to phone
from the
pop-up menu.
To switch back to contacts saved on the phone,
select
Options
and
Contacts
from the pop-up menu.
Alternatively, when you exit
SIM contacts
, the phone
automatically defaults to
Contacts
until you choose to
access
SIM contacts
again.
Screensaver and keylock timer
The screensaver is a blank screen. To set the period
of time before the screensaver appears, go to
Menu \
Settings \ General
\ Screensaver
. Select
15s, 30s, 1 min
or
2
min
from the pop-up menu. If the automatic keylock is
set to
On
, the keylock will also lock at the same time as
the screensaver.
Keylock
To lock and unlock the keypad, press and hold
O
from
the home screen. To set an automatic keylock, go to
Menu \ Settings \ General \ Keylock
and select
On
from
the pop-up menu.
