Call holding
To put a call on hold, press the Call key while the call is
active, or select Hold from the pop-up menu. To return
to the call, press the Call key, changing it from on hold
to active.
Call waiting
To activate call waiting, go to Menu \ Settings \ Call
settings \ Call waiting. Select On from the pop-up menu.
An incoming call is signalled with a short beeping sound
and an
Incoming call message on the screen. Press the
Call key to answer the incoming call. The original call
will be on hold. To switch back to the original call, select
Switch calls from the pop-up menu.
If the incoming call is not answered, it will be added to
the
Call log .
If call waiting is off, the caller will hear a busy tone or
go directly to voicemail, depending on your network
service provider call forwarding settings. You will not be
alerted to the call and it will not be added to the
Call log .
To check if the function is activated select
Check status
from the pop-up menu.
Call forwarding
To forward incoming calls to another number, go to Menu\
Settings \ Call settings \ Call forwarding . Select On from
the pop-up menu and key in the number. To deactivate
call forwarding, select
Off . To check if the function is
activated select Check status from the pop-up menu.
Conference calls
To turn a two-way call into a conference call, select
Add call from the pop-up menu. Highlight the contact
you would like to add to the call or key in a letter
to search alphabetically, and press the
Call key.
Alternatively, key in the number you wish to call and
press the
Call key. The original call will be on hold
until the new one is merged. Once the new call has
answered the call, select
Merge calls from the pop-up
menu to open the conference call.
If the new call does not answer or rejects the call, return
to the original call by pressing the
Call key, changing it
from on hold to active.
Switch calls
To switch to another incoming call while you are on
the phone, call waiting needs to be activated and the
incoming call needs to be answered. Press the
Call key
to answer the incoming call and select Switch calls from
the pop-up menu.
Headset auto-answer
If your Bluetooth headset is paired and connected to
the phone, it can automatically answer a call. Go to
Menu \ Settings \ Call Settings \ HS auto-answer and select
On from the pop-up menu to activate.
Volume control
To increase the listening volume during a call, press the
top section (+) of the
Volume key. Press the lower section
(–) to decrease the volume.
Mute
To turn off the microphone during a call, select Mute .
You will be able to hear the caller, but the caller will
not be able to hear you. Select
Unmute to turn on the
microphone again.
Speaker
To put a call on speakerphone, select Speaker . To return
to the Earpiece , select Handset .
