Reference:

Use this instruction with replace-

ment part 4C3188.

Tools Needed:

Flat-bladed screwdriver,

Phillips screwdriver, soldering iron,
refrigeration tape.

Warning-Hazardous Voltage

CAUTION:

Improper connections

may cause damage to the instrument.

Instruction:

1. Open the front sample door (A) and pull

the sides out gently to remove front
sample door.

2. Remove all mounting screws (B) from

the front panel of the instrument, and pull
the panel down and out.

3. Drain the heat transfer fluid as instructed

in the User’s Guide Maintenance section.

4. Turn off the instrument and disconnect

the power cord.

5. Disconnect the wires (C) attached to the

pump (D), noting that the red/yellow wire
is connected to the terminal marked with
a (+).

6. Remove the air filter to gain access to

two pump mounting screws (E).

7. Disconnect pump fittings at locations

shown (F) by removing cable ties and
pulling apart.

8. Pull the pump assembly out from the

front.
