Principles of GUI operation

Detail window

For each class of configurable objects, a detail window provides 
the detailed view on a specific object. It is used to enter the data 
of a newly created object or to change the attributes of an existing 
object.

A detail window of a class can be instantiated for each different 
object. Trying to open a detail window of an already displayed 
object results in activating the window with the selected object.

In each detail window, the buttons described consecutively are 
available:

•

Print - see a print preview of the details in a formsheet 
processed for the printer and start the printout on your 
default printer,

•

OK - affirmation and acceptance of the entries made in the 
respective detail window,
