24.2.4.
–Status Messages
The top line of this screen can display four different status messages. The messages are:
“Waiting for Data” -This message is displayed until in-range RPM, IPS, and Phase Angle
readings are recorded by the analyzer. The only way to exit the screen while this message is
displayed is to use the [F0] “Back Up” key.
“Acquiring Data” -This message is displayed during data acquisition. As long as the data
remains in-range, the analyzer will add each new sample to the running average. The only way
to exit the screen while this message is displayed is to use the [F0] “Back Up” key.
“Data Quality: Fair” (highlighted yellow) -This message indicates that data is being collected,
but there are not enough samples yet to confirm good quality readings. You can press [OK] to
accept a reading at this point, but the quality of the measurement may be reduced.
“Complete! Press OK” (highlighted green) -This message will appear when a minimum number
of consistent samples have been collected. Allow the unit to collect data as long as the error
continues to decrease. This will insure you have the most accurate data possible. Use the [OK]
key to exit this screen and store the reading.
24.2.5.
–RPM Warnings
For Run 1 the “RPM” heading itself will blink “HIGH” or “LOW” in the following situations;
In Propeller Balance when the current RPM is more than +/- 200 RPM from the RPM
defined in a setup.
In Fan/Turbine Balance when the current RPM is more than +/- 5% from the RPM
defined in a setup.
In Main Rotor Track and Balance or Tail Rotor Balance, when the value is +/- 50% of the
RPM value defined in the setup.
For Runs 2, 3, 4, etc..., the “HIGH” or “LOW” warning will appear in the following situations;
In Propeller Balance, Main Rotor Track and Balance or Tail Rotor Balance, when the
current RPM is more than +/- 50 RPM from the value recorded during Run 1.
In Fan/Turbine Balance when the current RPM is more than +/- 5% from the RPM value
recorded during Run 1.
