15.1.4.

 

– Equipment Setup 

The “Equipment Setup” banner screen, shown below, will be displayed prompting to install the 
appropriate sensors and cables.   

If the Viper II’s “Speeds” screen in paragraph 15.1.1.3 was configured for use of an optical 
tachometer, the information message “Tach power is On” will be displayed near the center of the 
screen.  This indicates that power to the optical tachometer is currently available to check 
alignment with the reflective target.  Press the [F1] “Tach Pwr” key to turn off power to the 
optical tachometer when it not being used.   

When all installations and connections are made, and tachometer checks completed as necessary, 
press [OK] to accept settings and exit this screen.
