2-9 – Analyzer Description

WARNING 

The Gen II analyzers were not intended to be operated during the charging cycle.  Individual 

power requirements must be examined on a case-by-case basis.  Operation of the Gen II analyzers 

with the charger energized and connected may affect acquired readings. 

 

2.4.3.

 

– Carrying Case 

The analyzer carrying case is constructed of expanded ABS plastic. The case is durable and 
protects its contents from the elements when closed and latched. It has a limited lifetime 
warranty from the original manufacturer. Clean the case with a mild soap solution and coat with 
an ARMOR ALL

 type protectant to preserve appearance (ARMOR ALL is a registered 

trademark of the Clorox Company). The case is designed to be airtight with the installation of an 
automatic purge valve. The automatic operation of this valve will allow the pressure to equalize 
and ease the task of opening the case following rapid pressure changes. 

2.4.4.

 

– USB Memory Device 

A 16 GB USB Memory Device or larger is included with the analyzer. This device can be used 
for storing setups, reports, database backups, and used to transfer data between the analyzer and 
a computer.  Any USB Memory Device formatted with a FAT32 file system will work with this 
analyzer, but some USB devices may not allow the analyzer lid to be closed without damaging 
the USB ports.
