9.1.4.1. In the “ Set ID ” field, use the keypad to enter a name or part number for the class
weight set you are about to define. The Set ID should be one that is recognizable and
commonly used by everyone who will be using this setup to balance.
9.1.4.2. Use the [

] key to move to the “ SplitErr: ” field. Use the numeric keypad to enter a
number that will be used to determine the maximum amount of error between the
suggested solution and the available class weight placement combination. The lower
this number, the closer the two solutions will match, but the longer it may take to
generate a solution during the solution process. The analyzer will warn you if the
“SplitErr:” value is greater than 10% of the difference between the first and second
weight. You will have the option to accept the recommended setting or to ignore it.
9.1.4.3. Use the [

] key to move to the “ Num Wts: ” (number of weights) field. Use the
numeric keypad to enter a number corresponding to the total number of different
weights in this class weight set. You should also define a NULL or NO WEIGHT
name which will populate the solution fields where no actual weight correction values
are required. In the example above, there are eight (11) weights used to correct an
imbalance and one (1) which has a null (NO WT) value of “0” for a total of twelve
(12) weights.
9.1.4.4. Use the [

] key to move to the “ Placement ” field. Use the [

] key to select from
“Continuous” or “Spread”. Selecting “Continuous” tells the analyzer to match the
suggested solution as closely as possible while keeping the installed weights in
consecutive positions. Selecting “Spread” allows the analyzer to insert empty weight
positions between weights, as needed, in an attempt to match the suggested solution.
