The following examples show the two different options for configuring the Analog Output.
Example 1
shows the Signal Source set to “
Station
Airflow” which is the most common
configuration. Example 2 shows the Signal Source set to
“Manual Output” which is typically
used for troubleshooting wiring issues.

6.5.6 Sensor Frequency Signals
The AccuStation measures airflow using vortex shedders that are incorporated in the
compression zone of each chamber inside the station. Each vortex shedder provides an
independent frequency-based signal that is directly proportional to the air flowing through the
chamber. The graphic below provides an indication of the airflow status in each chamber of the
station. Green indicates there is airflow and red indicates there is no airflow.
Indicates air is flowing through the
side with green sensor, no air is
flowing through the side with red
sensor.
Indicates air is flowing
through both chambers
Indicates no air is flowing
through either chamber
