These parameters have to be set within the configuration software
of the automation system / PLC.
If the SET menue parameter "CFG LOCAL/FB" is set to "FIELDBUS", the locally stored
configuration will be overwritten at the next sartup of the system (e. g. also with "0")
3.11.2 Parameter to be downloaded to the input module WDI100
At each start-up of a field bus node or of the whole system, parameters are downloaded to the
WDI100 field bus slave. The parameters contain the Cell-ID and one bit per possible wireless
proximity switch. The bit will be “1” if a sensor is configured, “0” if not used in this configuration.
3.12
Commissioning of Communication
Assumption: The WPS Power Supply is already commissioned (compare chapter 4.4).
Installation
•
Mount Input Module WDI100
•
Mount antennas
•
Install and connect antenna cables
•
Connect Input Module to 24Vdc
•
Plug-in FieldBusPlug at WDI100
•
Ensure Supply of FieldBusPlug
•
Connect communication modules WSIX100 to the sensor heads
•
Switch on magnetic power supplies WPU100
Configuration of connection to PLC/FBP
•
Copy the ABB*.gsd -file for the field bus plug into the GSD subdirectory of the host
software (ABB*.gsd see engineering package WEP100.0101 1SAJ900091R0101.ZIP)
•
Start the host software, (or actualize the directory to choose the *.gsd file from in the
host software)
•
Map the wireless input module into the field bus network (assign field bus address)
•
In the host software, select the WDI100 as the I/O for that node and set I/O addresses
Settings of Input Module WDI100
•
SET-Menu
-
Set field-bus-address on WDI
-
Set Cell-ID, set the desired ID-number for this Cell (1-60)!
-
Set “Fieldbus” to LOCAL
Configuration of Sensors
•
CFG-Menu: Configure Sensors in the CFG Menu
-
Select a sensor address,
-
Press Button at communication module WSIX100 of selected Sensor
•
RUN-Mode: Check correct Sensor function
