SCU200 

INSITE ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

5.2.Control unit login 

The web user interface is designed for use on browser-based devices. The recommended web browser is 

Google Chrome, other supported web browsers are Safari, Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer.

Start screen (login)

Insert the IP address of the device in the browser address bar.

To access the web browser, it is also important to define port number 8000.

Factory settings with:

•  Default IP: 192.168.1.200:8000

• 

Default login → username: admin, password: admin

Please note that the control unit uses a secure 

https:// connection and port 7999

. 

First, it is necessary to confirm the secure connection. Later on you won’t be asked to confirm it provided 

that you upload the SSL Certificate as described in the dedicated section.

At first login, user will be prompted to change the administrator login data. It is highly recommended 

to change the administrator login password to improve cyber security. The new password must contain 

minimum 8 characters, at least one uppercase letter and one number.
