Controller Wiring
Refer to Appendix A for Controller Operation information. Refer to Appendix B for the pin assignment
for controller connectors.
Step Action
1.
ESD Ground Connector is located on the lower
right corner of the distribution section for
connection of a wrist strap.
2.
J1 - Plant Interface Connection: Factory Installed. Violet Wire is “ Open String (OS) signal from battery breakers.
The Yellow Wire is - 48FAJ from load breakers.
3.
J2 - Voltage/Temperature (VT) Probe Connection: RJ - 45 connection from Voltage/Thermal (VT) probes from
mid - string battery post of battery.
If using ES771 Voltage Module, Verify the 1 - Wire serial bus reference:
The ES771 modules must be referenced to the most negative potential of the DC bus. This reference is achieved
by the proper setting of Jumper 11 next to the relay configuration jumpers. Following are the appropriate
settings for negative and positive power plants.
For +24V systems with Negative Grounded batteries
