Menu Navigation Buttons
The NE843 has six tactile buttons to use to navigate through a structured menu system. The buttons
serve multiple purposes depending on the screen a user is at. These functions are summarized below.
System Status Display
LCD Backlight
The controller has an alarm sensitive back - light indicator to provide a clear indication of the system
status. Severities of alarms can be configured through the remote interfaces.

Parameter Change
In the Main Display, the ▲▼ buttons increase or decrease the
display contrast.

Critical Alarm

Major Alarm
High severity. Generally assigned to alarm to indicate a Power affecting condition.
Immediate attention required.
Minor Alarm
Medium severity. Generally assigned to alarm to indicate a non - power affecting
condition. Attention eventually required.
