5.01 What is Program Mode and how do I use it
The
PROGRAM MODE
of the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi Luminometer is used to carry out testing and save results
against specific test points within a saved sample plan. Refer to the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Online Software User
Guide to download the service driver to allow communication between 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Online Software and
the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi Luminometer via the USB connection.:
1. Ensure the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi Luminometer is connected to the PC via the USB cable or 3M™ Clean-
Trace™ NG Luminometer Docking Station.
2. Create a sample plan using the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Online Software.
3. Transfer the sample plan from the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Online Software to the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi
Luminometer.
4. Transfer stored results from the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi Luminometer to the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Online
Software.
Once the sample plans have been transferred to the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi Luminometer, it is ready to take
measurements.

and press

menu will display the current list of
sample plans as shown on the right. Use the navigation (
▲
/
▼
)
buttons to highlight the required sample plan and press
Select
At this point it is possible to use the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi Luminometer to perform a new series of tests for the
selected sample plan, or to perform retests on existing stored results which are shown in date order on the screen.
