3.02 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NG Luminometer Printer
It is possible to connect the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi Luminometer to an external 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NG
Luminometer Printer via the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Docking Station. Both the Docking Station and 3M™ Clean-
Trace™ NG Luminometer Printer are available as optional accessories. It is possible to print either individual tests
or a series of tests from one result set in a given sample plan. Before attempting to print, ensure that the printer is
connected directly to the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NG Luminometer Docking Station with the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ NGi
Luminometer fitted in place inside the docking station. Before using the printer for the first time, insert the batteries
provided and charge them by using the charger provided. The batteries are fully charged when the charge light
stops flashing and remains constant. Ensure the printer is switched on. The printer uses thermal paper, use only
paper supplied by 3M.
Loading paper into the printer
Turn printer on by momentarily pressing the button on the
front of the printer. The status light on the front of the printer
will flash if the printer is out of paper.
Lift the cover of printer and hinge towards the rear.
Feed the paper under the black rubber roller from the bottom
of the paper roll as shown on the left.
As the paper is pushed under the roller, the roller will start to
turn, pulling the paper into the printer and stopping when the
paper feed is complete.
The status light on the front of the printer will stop flashing
and remain on permanently when the paper feed is
complete.
Place the paper roll into the holding area and close lid with
the end of the paper resting over the front of the lid.
The printer is now ready for use.
The paper may be fed between printouts by pressing and holding down the button on the front of the printer.
