5 Troubleshooting and Maintenance

5.3.5 Installing and Removing the Filter Module (Fluorescent Option)

Switch the HXP 120 illuminator off.

Warning!

Crush hazard! Stop the running digitization process before you proceed

with filter module installation or removal.

Pull protective cover halves apart or remove the right part completely (see section

5.3.1

Removing the protective covers

Select the desired filter in the corresponding software window (see section

4.2.3

Microscope Settings/Base Settings tab

). The filter will be positioned in such a way that the

user can access it without having to turn the filter wheel manually.

Enter the respective parameters in the input fields.

Warning!

Crush hazard! Rotating the filter turret motorically during installation

or removal may lead to injury.
