Upload Settings
The upload method and frequency are set
using this screen.
Unless “Wi-Fi Only” is
chosen from the pulldown menu, it is
recommended that the upload frequency be
at 5 minutes or longer in order to save on
cellular costs. The factory default setting for
the AQSync is 5 minutes. Click on the digits
to bring up a keyboard that allows you to
change the upload frequency.
The most cost effective and (generally) the
most stable choice for uploads is WiFi. The AQSync can be set to “prioritize” the use
of WiFi, in which case it will use the WiFi network that has been specified in System
Settings/WiFi Settings (see Section E.7.5 above) whenever that network is available.
The AQSync can also be set to exclusively use WiFi (i.e., never use cellular) for uploads.
This might be chosen in cases where the cellular costs are prohibitive, or the cellular
network is spotty or unreliable. Likewise, cellular uploading can be prioritized or
designated for exclusive use.
