ISDN Switch Types
The following table summarizes the different type of switch types
supported by the Prestige and some related information on the
switch types (number of phone numbers and SPID numbers). It
should be noted that the information in this table is for the
‘common’ case and is recommended for those cases. Exceptions
still exist to these figures. You can locate the provisioning
information for the appropriate North American switch type in the
next sections.

Provisioning For U.S. Switches
For the U.S., the Prestige (both the U and S/T interface) has been
approved by Bellcore and has the IOC (ISDN Ordering Code) “S”
Capability, EZ-ISDN 1. Please provide this information to your
telephone company when you order your ISDN line. If your
telephone company is not familiar with this IOC, then ask them
what kind of switch you will be connected to and use the
information under each switch type to order your ISDN line.
