Maintenance and Use
8.1 Introduction
This chapter describes how you should ensure that the MX250 continues to operate.
Warning
Only trained and qualified personnel should be allowed to maintain the MX250.
8.2 Usage
Warning
Do not use the MX250 to report a gas leak when in the vicinity of the gas leak.
8.3 Servicing
To ensure the operation of the real time clock when the system is off, you should replace the AAA
batteries in the fan tray at least once per year. See section 6.2 on page 31 for instructions on
replacing these batteries.
Caution
The fan tray batteries are the only parts inside the MX250 that you can repair or
replace yourself. Refer servicing to only qualified service personnel.
For proper servicing of these products, return them to the distributor from whom you purchased
them or to Zultys.
8.4 Disposal
When the system is no longer of any use, you may return it to Zultys, or the Zultys distributor
from whom you purchased the equipment, for proper disposal.
